The Cabin Shadows
Shawn Krueger
David Krieg is an unusual individual, diagnosed with schizophrenia shortly after his annual boys fishing trip. David tells us the story of the life-changing events of that twentieth year at Gusty Lake. The mid-forty something's find them-selves wrapped up in a world of strange beings called shadows. Chalet Camaraderie sits on a secluded lake in the Northern part of Quebec, Canada; the cabin carries secrets that David discovers might hold the key to another world. David finds himself a victim of circumstance and ends up disappearing for a week. His return to a disbelieving world of exploitative press and self-presented debunkers pushes David to a brink of insanity. All David wants is to tell his story and complete his mission!
