I started with the flashlight and a camera, mounted on a tripod, to drawing in the dark. I stood some distance away from the camera so that, as I moved the flashlight, I produced a trail of light that the film recorded. The camera was left to open lens, which was closed only after completion of the drawing. Ich begann mit der Taschenlampe und einem Fotoapparat, auf Stativ montiert, im Dunkeln zu zeichnen.
