This work updates and expands upon the initial volume and the first supplement of Sinclair's now-standard reference, French Devotional Texts of the Middle Ages (Greenwood Press, 1979, 1982). The present work makes available for the first time information about 1500 unrecorded medieval French vernacular devotional texts.
