Contributor Bio:  Schulz, Michael Michael Schulz is the author of "Man, A Dog's Best Friend." Even though his books are about dogs, he loves all pets, including cats. His inspiration for his illustrations include artists such as Frank Miller, David Mazzucchelli, John Romita and Tim Sale to name a few. He works in almost any drawing medium and holds a high regard for the ability to being able to leave out detail. He states: "It is important for me that the viewer contributes to the experience of my artworks or books. Leaving out lines, colors or even words, gives room for the reader to collaborate with the artwork and dialogue. This helps that my readers do not become lazy, but remain interested, having a feel of accomplishment or revelation themselves"
