Off the coast of Cuba, a U. S. Coast Guard cutter spotted a ransacked vessel and rescued Kirby Archer and Guillermo Zarabozo, who chartered the Joe Cool for a trip to the Bahamas. They claimed that pirates ambushed the boat, killing the captain and crew.
