She and her twin sister, Shaylenne, faced constant danger within the Pride. Her maternal uncle ensured her magical education as soon as she demonstrated magical promise. Shyenne struggles to overcome the abuses of her childhood, the prejudice she experienced and develop new relationships, meanwhile balancing her magic, animalism and Native American beliefs. Relying on her magic and her budding investigative skills. Shyenne is determined to protect those in need while finding the witches responsible for the missing Weres. The motive behind the disappearances merely adds more fuel to the fire between the two races.
