She was young and green when she followed her husband's dream of moving out west. They settled in Squaw Rock, Idaho in 1871 trying to live a peaceful life and enlisting the Homestead Act of 1863. Yet, now Minnie Begley finds herself without a family, her husband and son murdered in cold blood, and in the center of a land war. A beleaguered woman, a powerful land baron, a dashing young cowboy, and a small town are all caught up in this war. Taking sides, taking chances and standing up for herself and all the women of the west, Minnie Begley will come face to face with some of the most savage cowpunchers the west has to offer.
