Five years after the Great War, a violent quake brought five large islands bubbling to the surface of the Great Southern Sea. The enterprising Arka-Dal saw these new lands as a great opportunity. He claimed them for the Empire, then opened them to colonization. For several years, the colony grew and thrived. Then on one summer day, all contact with the colony suddenly stopped. Worried, Arka-Dal sent an expedition of five ships under the command of Sindbad to the islands to find out what happened to the colony. It proved to be the most horrifying voyage of the famed captain's career!
