People this is Margie. However, what I am writing and taking from her diary is not everything about her. It would take volumes of books to scratch the complexities it takes for a person to be a human being. A soul whose physical body grew up in a world filled with joy, fear, happiness, sadness, terminal illness, loneliness, hope, desperation, determination, and love. I want this to be the essence of her feelings and emotions; that is whythroughout this book her actual words from her diary are written in Italics. The reader should know they are not the only person out there experiencingall these different and often times confusing events and thoughts. Margie, was a gifted and talented person who through love, understanding, andacceptance developed beliefs that helped us to understand that life has tobe experienced with all of its complexities in order to appreciate it. One of her favorite proverbs: No one can learn to live who has not learnedto die. If the reader can reinforce ones own survivability by using Margie'sthoughts, beliefs, strengths, and love, then we have accomplished ourmission.
