This is a collection of stories about the celebration of Christmas, as I experienced this holiday during my lifetime. Some of these stories are nostalgic and some are sentimental; a few are funny and a couple I would like to forget. Christmas began to take on special meaning for me when I came to realize that Christmas is not just another holiday. It is a special time, when God gives us his gifts of love, hope, and peace. It is the spirit of Christmas that inspires us and makes us feel so good. Maybe that is why we celebrate it year after year, in much the same way. I am sharing my stories with you in the hope that each story will also serve as a parable of what Christmas was intended to be. Maybe they will bring back some very special and precious memories of your own, and in some way help you to shape your life and faith, and bring joy to your heart.
