This historical novel graphically shows America's stupidity, laxity, and gullibility, which for a half century politicians, and its captains of commerce. It is also a story relating the adventures of an American, drawn to China as part of the historic "Flying Tigers", and who remains in the Far East as a successful businessman. He watches with horror as the people of China are constantly harassed, arrested, and executed. They are stripped of property, freedom, lives, heritage, and religion, to protect a communist totalitarian dictatorship, which arose unabated from the ashes of a billion crimes. The novel shows the pure greed of many American opportunists, who, when weighing exorbitant profits, against the destruction of their nation, chose money. This unfortunate choice created enormous China-U. S. trade deficits, which, along with budget deficits, have cast America into a debtor nation status, and presents to China an overwhelming leverage in controlling American actions. Chinese student spies, sent to our universities, to when worm their way into our secret institutions, sending back military technical data, also aided the rise of the communists. The novel foretells the tragic future years, if American does not protect its economy, its sovereignty, and its people.
