Observation DeckStanding on this deck I look down and observe. This deck is high above the lives of my friendsAt times I feel higher than all human kindI stand alone humbled in this crowdAs the crowd separates Between the entertainersAnd the lonersI stand back and observe. Perched above on this lonely deck, I wonder if I learn more from this distanceSeparation, separating myself from the world"They" all learn from their mistakes. From me they take and takeI observe like I'm on a deck. From above looking down. I so want to look up instead of downEven if I have to jump off this deckPosition my arms close to my eyes and just diveDive into the rest of the worldAll it's insecurityBy now I should have learned my way aroundOr like Grenouillelearned my smell aroundBy now I should be able to stand on my own cloudPour myself out and share with the crowd.
