Jalena Dances with God is a fiction novel about a young lady, growing up in a Christian household who at one point, had to be put out of her family?s home due to the lifestyle she lived which almost caused the rape of her own mother and her own devastation while dealing with past hurts, addiction and the loss of her father. We follow Jalena as she is accepted back into the household and deals with life issues from the tragic death of a childhood friend to finding the meaning of true love. In between all of this, she has the pleasure of meeting God in an unusual way that really changes her life as she struggles to make her way from feeling like a failure to knowing that she is someone who is special in the eyes of God. Jalena Dances with God interweaves a supernatural event in Jalena?s life with the natural as she learns to deal with the mindset of knowing that she must first change her ways in order to help others and put them first as she goes from playing the victim to living victorious.
