Toxic Trade Dan Cotton
Toxic Trade
Dan Cotton
Some politicians, business, and community leaders, might regard themselves as untouchable in law. Their wealth or the unflinching belief of their disciples might protect them and allow them to initiate legal action against others, with impunity. What happens when those politicians and community leaders, with secret lives, fall under the ownership of wealthy sponsors? Perhaps their nasty little habits might stay protected from the glare of publicity, or they'll be given lucrative consultancies, with the proviso of course, that their political decisions, or their consultant's reports, remain favourable to their sponsor's needs. What if toxic trades and dangerous taxpayer funded projects are deliberately concealed from the public gaze? What if someone comes along to expose them?
