Obaachan No Hanashi - English / Japanese Version Kou Lovin

These stories were written in 2011. That Spring, I was going to visit my mother (who was 95 years old) in Japan. But the Tohoku region which is just north of where my family lives received terrible earthquake damage. Also, so many people died from the resulting tsunami. I was very sad altogether. I decided not to go there at that time. In the past, my mother had always looked forward to seeing me as soon as she found out that I was coming to visit. It was a disappointment to both of us. I really wanted to do something for her. I was thinking about my childhood and how wonderful it was because of my parents' tender care. I started drawing these pictures and stories came to my mind while I was doing it, so I wrote them down. When I was done, I sent them to her which made me feel somewhat better... *This version is good for anyone who are trying to learn English or Japanese.
