The guitar playing aspirations of sisters Natalie and Madolyn, rapidly disappeared once they were signed up for guitar lessons. They found that it intruded on more exciting things like playing with friends and wanted to find a way out of having to practice.

In her spare time and just for fun, Madolyn would pretend she was a magician casting spells and making wishes, never trusting they would come true.

That night the sisters were so fed up with practice that Madolyn decided to use her magic power on their guitars with hopes that they would practice themselves. What happened next completely surprised both of them.

When they awakened to find their instruments gone, they immediately got dressed and followed them. The lessons learned while pursuing their runaway guitars unsuspectedly taught them about starting something and then changing their minds because they had better things to do.

In the end Natalie and Madolyn decided to go in a different direction, one they felt their mom might accept again.
