The houses were residences designed by iconic mid-century architects and designers for themselves, including: Walter Gropius, Charles and Ray Eames, Harry Bertoia, Albert Frey, George Nakashima, Jens Risom, Wharton Esherick, Eva Zeisel, Russel Wright, Ray Kappe, Vladimir Kagan, Irving Harper, Jerry & Evelyn Ackerman and JB Blunk. Each house will have 10 to 16 pages, with about the same number of photographs, which show the overall spaces as well as intimate details of the design and furnishings.
