This study of medieval antisemitism and conspiracy theory edits, translates and interprets two Hanseatic letters that reveal an alleged poisoning conspiracy in 14th-c. Visby, on Gotland in Sweden, which sought to blame the Jews for the Black Death, despite their probable absence in Visby at the time.
