"Zarathustra's Larkmotif" is an epic poem written by the Russian and English-Canadian poet Ivan Zhavoronkov. It is based on a lyrical philosophical poem by the Russian poet and philosophy professor Anatoly Nazirov entitled "Zarathustra" (inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's "Thus Spake Zarathustra"), which Zhavoronkov recently translated from the Russian into English and published both as a stand-alone volume and ? together with other poems by Dr. Anatoly Nazirov ? under the general title "A Poet's Gallery". The poem is rich in emotion and original images, employing rhythm and rhyme, alliteration and assonance. Its bird imagery presents a unique and complex canvas of intricate yet understandable ideas.
