Ironically, the fate of the world is in the hands of Barry Hargrove, a two-bit detective, who is in search of a relic known as the Baton of Time, whose importance he does not fully comprehend. There are many secrets to be revealed from an unlikely group of people: a skeptical doctor, a sexy newscaster, a small Mayan street urchin, a shaman, a housekeeper, and a ghostly Mayan priest.
