Three cousins, Evy, Eli, and Sami spend a week on their grandparents' farm. During a late-night walk in the woods at the back of the farm, they stumble upon mysterious men searching for hidden valuables that, unknown to the children, were stashed there after a bank heist in Ann Arbor. The three cousins work to solve the mystery in the woods while avoiding capture by the crooks. The three unwittingly place themselves in peril while gathering clues and unraveling the crime. They draw their grandparents into the mystery, and befriend their grandmother's cousin Robbie, a State policeman, and Detective Bennett of the Ann Arbor police.
