Lou Christopher valiantly served his country for twenty years as an army officer. Now, a retired colonel and a steadfast family man, he will be forced by extortion to betray it.







Mysterious strangers approach Lou with a threat that he will lose everything he has unless he goes along with their plan. They require his military skills to stage a false act of terrorism near Manhattan, implying that this attack will be one of several simultaneous strikes all across the United States on the eve of a national election. With the country horrified by this coordinated violence, the incumbent president will win reelection in a landslide.







When Lou refuses flat out, the strangers threaten his family. Lou knows he could never allow anything to endanger his grandchildren. He goes along with the plan, but keeps it a secret, telling his wife Maggie that he must go out of town for several days on business. Maggie suspects that he is having an affair, but when Lou gets in over his head and gets burned by the rest of his team, she realizes that the truth is much more complicated.







As Maggie works to uncover and thwart the dark conspiracy, Lou and Sydney, his female teammate, elude the opposition forces to survive and escape. Using his distinctive set of military skills, Lou becomes the hunter and vows to extract his revenge and bring them all down.
