A flood washes away the burrow and Julian finds himself alone with his little sister because his parents have not yet returned from a raid on a farm. Julian finds a floating log where he gets to safety with his sister and defends her at all costs. This is how adventures unfold in which both overcome several threats with courage and ingenuity until they find a new home. A funny and tender story that shows the rabbit's deep brotherly love and makes him risk everything for his little sister. Julio Millares won the Vargas Llosa Prize for novels and the Imaginaria Prize for children's stories. He lived in Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Sweden before returning to his native Argentina. He is a professor at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cuyo.
