Basil the famed detective dog from Scotland Yard has tracked down the missing recipe for the famous Great British Meat Pie through to France and now investigates the theft of this famous recipe to Russia. Not the Russians again! The French decided they preferred croissants and therefore the French would not be interested in the great English Meat Pie. However the Russians could be very interested in the recipe and they could make loads of money manufacturing in competition to UK and produce a better meat pie than Britain. An amusing story in the ongoing Basil series with puns and jokes and metaphors.
