Season of Forgiveness is a collection of short stories. In those pages, you'll meet characters such as Red the tattoo artist, Buck the Vietnam veteran, and Emily searching for that a place to leave a crumbly oak leaf. And many more. There's Benjamin who thinks his name is silly, Danny who gives away his only Christmas present, and Matthew who only wanted a few apples. All of the stories have something to do with forgiveness. Sometimes, like Buck's story, forgiveness is in the forefront. In other stories forgiveness lives in the background. The stories themselves come from the writing journey of the author. Some are from the first set of stories when he first encountered the joy of watching stories and characters come to life. Other stories are more recent. Some may make you cry, others may bring a smile, but all of them reveal that most desired of human options - the option to forgive.
