The story Holly and the Hat is a modern children's book in the perspective of a Welsh corgi named Holly. Holly's owner/mommy is pregnant with her first child and Holly is very confused and does not know what is happening. With her owners coming and going, strange furniture added to the house, Holly is just trying to figure out what is happening in her home.
