The emperor and his daughter of the Eternal Roman Empire, find themselves in a unique position. They find that the cost of peace, will be higher than they thought. The Quaniuian Empire has had a peace treaty, with the Eternal Roman Empire for over a quarter century. This new biological weapon threatens that peace. The Quaniuians, accidently unleash this weapon in their empire, which brings devastation to their people. Bracius knows, if an antidote is not found. This biological weapon, has the potential to spread into his empire and wipeout, any civilization it comes in contact with. Seeing the potential danger, Bracius offers his assistance in finding a cure. Along with this, he has been asked by his daughter to support an uprising, against the Cheng Dynasty. At first, he is reluctant to do so. He has just put down a rebellion of his own. Plus, if he supports this rebellion. He could destroy the fragile peace, he has worked so hard for.
