When a bomb in his hotel landed Max Donovan in the hospital, it also threw him into a life-or-death struggle for control of Sri Lanka's lucrative heroin trade. Max is quickly drawn into a complex web of intrigue involving a book manuscript, a shadowy drug lord and his band of hired assassins, and a stolen religious relic. On the run, Max struggles to piece together an increasingly complex and dangerous plot before the drug lord's killers catch up with him.
