This songbook contains a collection of 38 of the best traditional sea shanties and other songs of the sea from the British Isles, America and beyond - classic pieces of life on and around the sea. These songs were chosen by author Ben "Gitty" Baker from amongst his personal favorites, the sort that you would be likely to hear at a traditional maritime singing session. Each song arrangement includes 3-string tablature, chord names and forms, lyrics and additional verses. A short snippet of their background and history is also provided, as well as multiple arrangements in different keys and styles, to accommodate varying skill levels and vocal ranges.
