Theodor Koch-Grunberg
The German ethnologist and explorer Koch-Grünberg (1872–1924) accounts for the origin and significance of rock art in South America in this 1907 publication. During an expedition to the Yapurá River and the Rio Negro (Venezuela) he discovered several paintings, of which 29 are reproduced and analysed here.
