John Turnbull
First published in 1805, this travelogue documents John Turnbull's five-year journey around the world, including three years spent exploring the Pacific Islands. Turnbull left Portsmouth in 1800 intending to pursue trade in Asia. His travels instead took him to the Pacific. This expanded edition was published in 1813.
