Jacob Bell
A founder of the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, Jacob Bell (1810-59) wrote a piece for the Pharmaceutical Journal which forms the first part of this historical sketch, later completed by Theophilus Redwood (1806-92) and published in 1880. It traces pharmacy's development from the sixteenth century to the 1868 Pharmacy Act.
