Marc Notes: This collection places the role of the EU in the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons within an analytical framework inspired by the emerging body of literature on the performance of international organisations. Biographical Note: Spyros Blavoukos is Assistant Professor in the Department of International and European Economic Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. He holds a PhD from the University of Essex. His research focuses on the analysis of international and European institutions with particular emphasis on the relations of the EU with international organizations. Dimitris Bourantonis is Professor of International and European Studies at the Department of International and European Economic Studies at the Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece. His research focuses on the study of international institutions with emphasis on the UN and the EU, negotiation theory and practice. Clara Portela is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Singapore Management University. She holds a PhD from European University Institute, Florence. She is the recipient of the THESEUS Award for Promising Research in European Integration for her work on EU foreign policy.
