Sifu Mark Beardsell is certified in both in the Wing Chun Pole and Knife form and the application for each, because of his disability, he is unable to flip the blade on his right hand side, so he was set the task by his Sifu to logically modify the form so it would work for him, however that said he teachers the form as its passed on to everyone else, the contents of this book covers his thoughts on the actual reality of the weapons. In addition to this he also has trained in using the samurai and ninja swords, and he has over 150 hours of training in the sword and he has trained things such as clashes, blocks, sword positions, cutting directions, stances, kataÕs and so when he analyses if the butterfly knives will work against the sword he has first hand experience from both sides.
