A flash of lightning is the warning of an approaching storm. But, for Mackenzie Aldkin, the lightning can signal something far more sinister.



With her newfound abilities to hear voices after a lightning strike, Mac is once again drawn into the planning of another murder. Or, so she thinks.



Set against the backdrop of a mystery theater production she is helping to put on, Mackenzie is finding it difficult to sort out what is real, and what is pretend.



With the help of her family and friends, along with her new kitten, Shaylee - who seems to have mystical powers of her own - it becomes a race against time for Mac to understand what the voices are telling her.



Can Mac trust what she hears long enough to prevent a murder? Or, are the voices possibly leading to her ominous end?
