Although Joe was entrenched in the traditional values of his Fifties upbringing, the seduction of the Sixties began the erosion of the umbilical lines that tethered him to convention. The Seventies was the knockout punch that forced him to realize that the road to success, that he thought he was riding, was merely a gangplank. Park Slope, Brooklyn is where Joe lands and meets his true self. "Somewhere In Brooklyn" is a work of fiction loosely based on the real life experiences of its author.
