Seasons of Denial is about a young emigrant caught between his desire of independence and his need for security. Omar arrives in Jacksonville, Florida from Boston, Massachusetts and is hired out as a day labourer to Angela. Slowly and inexorably, Omar is drawn into Angela's world-- family, religion, politics, racism. But from the moment they became driven by the question of race, they break out of the dark mystery that they were, sending them on a downward spiral of deceit.
