The Admirable Crichton (Dodo Press)

A 1902 play by J. M. Barrie. The title character is the butler to Lord Loam, a British peer. Loam considers the class divisions in British society to be artificial, but Crichton considers them "the natural outcome of a civilised society". Their beliefs are challenged following an accident. Written by J. M. Barrie, the Scottish novelist and dramatist who is best known for inventing the character of Peter Pan.
