Dirk approached the Arian ship from astern and a little low. They were about twenty-five miles away and in perfect firing position, if needed. Dirk locked the radar on the other craft again and sent out the heat-seeking beam. This time he got a faint reading. "Something's alive on that ship. Whatever it is, it's just barely alive. We are going to go aboard it, so let's not expose ourselves to anything until we find out what it is over there."
"Aye, aye Skipper."
"You've been picking up Scaner's habits, too."
"We dock in three minutes." Scaner stated.
