When Dominic and his family pack up to move over 1000 miles away from the home where was born and has grown up, he experiences an extreme feeling of anxiety for the first time. He watches everything that is special to him and most important, everything that makes him most comfortable get further in the window as they drive away. All Dom wants to do is find a way to hide and escape from this terrible feeling. He has no idea what to do, and feels like nobody would understand what he is experiencing. He doesn't tell his parents and pretends like nothing is wrong. His biggest challenge is trying to cover up how his body and stomach are reacting to this anxiety. Along the way of this new adventure, a special cookbook finds Dominic and helps him discover a world of cooking. As Dominic struggles with finding a common ground with his new classmates and getting adjusted to his new neighborhood, he is constantly working on a great recipe.
