Identical twin boys. One raised by his prostitute mother in post war France the other raised in the United States by adoptive parents. One boy becomes an operative for an intelligence organization the other becomes a paid assassin. They have lived their lives with no idea they had a sibling. Now, a plot to kill an ambassador has been uncovered and this leads to an investigation of other murders that have occurred in countries around the Mediterranean Sea. Patrick Deitering has no idea he is in pursuit of his twin brother Paul Delorean. After Paul fakes his death to cover up his flight from France, his mother mistakes Patrick for Paul in a Marseille restaurant and that begins a series of events which bring the brothers into a final conflict.
