The Edge of Depression Karen Wood
The Edge of Depression
Karen Wood
In the summer of 2007, I suffered from the worst depression of my life. My depression took me to dark places where I was trapped alone and inconsolable. I was in and out of hospitals almost losing myself. Writing this book was therapy. The books was a catharsis. I bore my soul on these pages which chronicled how God, therapy and antidepressants sustained me over those months. In the end though, I faced my nightmares not be closing my eyes, but by opening them to all that is wonderful within me and all of us if we just look.
