One April morning two baby doves hatched from two small eggs on my patio. I watched them every day until they learned how to fly. My granddaughter was also awed by observing them and learned a real life lesson of a birth.

I was extremely fascinated by the activities of the birds and decided to keep a photographic record of their behavior as well as a written one. This is the true story of their growth in a picture book aimed at young readers. In a video game world where children are often cut off from their natural environment, this is a book that can help them wake up to the wonder of their surroundings.
