Chas and Musar help Phil but Diana Deverill, a glamorous reporter, and Chief Inspector Lord, the investigating officer, are both determined to find him. He has to stay free but has he enough friends to help him remain at large? His only concern is to find whoever murdered his brother. In order to do that he has to stay out of prison as long as possible. Phil is an archetypical 'nice guy' but has he been nice enough for people to help him in his hour of need?
