The Amazon is burning because we are not good stewards of the land. The seas and oceans are becoming depleted of life because we are not good stewards of them. The air we breathe is becoming polluted because we are not good stewards of the air. We were never meant to be stewards of anything but to be managed by nature. We were meant to live as the dwindling indigenous tribes around the world live. We need to seek a simple lifestyle that pursues humble pleasures controlled by nature. We need to return to our original Sun god for sustenance, happiness and rebirth to prolong our days on this planet because time will not be our enemy but our friend.
