This is a collection of stories about the time when people were young, quite penniless and dependent on one another. Once upon not so long ago, there was a lodging house in 44A Lorong Ahmad Marzoeki that housed 19 tenants because it simply couldn?t house 20. Coming to Newtown City from every corner of the world, there were 15 boys and 4 girls, collectively dubbed as Pheng iu by one of them. Life under one roof couldn?t get more random than this, alright, but they were in need of each other so they could share and enjoy a cheaper rent. What began with some cheapskate attitude soon became a very close and tight relationship. As they set out to do good and hit the big time, they found love and friendship in their togetherness. There was never a quiet day especially when Robin and Mark were around. Love was in the air and so was shit smell. Alas, there was also too much information sometimes, thanks to the resident genius.
