Timmy was just like other little boys, but he had one fault. He hated doing his chores; he would rather play with his toys and eat his snacks. His mother warned him his mess would someday turn into a monster and stink up his entire room.



Timmy did not heed his mother's advice, and one day he received some unexpected company. A monster named Chores took up residence under his bed, eating the scraps until he grew very large and smelly. Chores delighted in making an even bigger and smellier mess. How long will Timmy be able to live with the monster sharing his bedroom?
