About the Author


Emmett E. Kennedy was born in Coffee County, a county in mid-Alabama, where times were hard. Kennedy graduated from Fairhope High in 1948. After graduation, he enrolled in the Navy and served for four years, two of those years spent in action during the Korean War. A tour of duty in the military can advance a man quickly toward maturity.
