It was during her employment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center that she experienced the most difficulty in obtaining qualified and trustworthy people to work with her husband, James. In their first book, I Want to Dance With My Wife Again, she relates the story of how they were trapped in a web of illness unlike anything either of them had ever encountered. This book gives an introspection into the health care delivery system often talked about but amongst patients and their family members, but not much has been written about it. Mrs. Brown's hope is that this book will launch a discussion which may lead to policy changes as it relates to the individuals who are allowed to enter the Health Care Profession. A Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University (2001). She has worked in Critical Care areas such as Adult Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Military Public Health and Trauma Program Manager at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (2009 - 2014).
