Diana is amoral, unconventional, promiscuous and more than a little crazy. She turns up unannounced at her sister Mel's home after eleven years in the wilderness. She was once engaged to be married to Mel's husband Corey and to Mel's dismay, the flame still burns strongly between her husband and her wayward sister. Mel discovers something frightening about her sister: she has become an intrepid confidence trickster. She and her partner Randy embark on a series of cons that nets them lots of money but when one of their schemes backfires they find themselves in serious trouble and running for their lives. Their bohemian and lawless lifestyle leads them into some very dark places. Eventually they find themselves enmeshed in blackmail, extortion and finally, murder.
